Scholarships

  • There are three primary sources for scholarships: national groups, local groups, and universities and colleges.

    Many of the scholarships available to students at Hoffman Estates High School are provided in the list below. The listing is not complete and scholarship information is updated all of the time. It is up to the students to research scholarship opportunities beyond the information provided on this page.

    Also, please be sure to complete the and other college financial aid forms.  There are many other types of aid available besides scholarships.

    Please take time to read the Rules page in the Scholarship Guide.  It will answer many of your questions.

AQS Richard A. Maass Memorial Scholarship The Fox Valley Section 1208 of the American Society for Quality offers the Richard A. Maass Memorial Scholarship which will fund one year of undergraduate tuition and fees up to a maximum of $2,000.00. Center for Online Education A collection of scholarships for minority students.
CNA Scholarship Our scholarship award amount is $500. The scholarship has the following criteria: applicants must be accepted into a state-approved Nurse Aide, CNA, or LNA training program by August 31; applicants must be a United States resident and at least 18 years old; entries must be received by August 21 and a winner will be contacted by August 31
College Board Scholarship Search A great scholarship engine that allows you to search by keyword or sponsor name. You can also customize your search by entering demographic information.
College Scholarships Scholarships for non-traditional Students
Dean Ritter Trust for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Please read the requirements below to make sure you qualify for the Dean Ritter Scholarship: 1) Must have significant hearing loss in one or both ears; (2) Must be a resident of the state of Illinois (citizenship not a requirement); (3) Currently a high school senior in good standing; (4) Financial need will be considered; and (5) You will need 2 letters of recommendation to complete your application.
Delta Kappa Gamma Recruitment Grants Two grants of $1500 are available to graduating District 211 female seniors who plan on majoring in an education related field in college.
Engineer Girl Scholarships of women going into or in engineering
FastWeb Similar to NerdScholar, this database has a large number of scholarships. Enter some information about yourself and your parents (clubs, occupations, etc.) to gain access to scholarship information. An email address is required, but there is no charge for this site.
Fueling the Minds of the Future TBA
Garden Club of Illinois The Garden Club of Inverness is pleased to offer one or more scholarships of at least $1,000 each to a graduating senior(s) or college student, who has demonstrated an interest in an environmentally related field.
GE-REAGAN FOUNDATION Scholarship Program The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program honors the legacy and character of our nation's 40th President by rewarding college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education. Through the generous support of GE, this national program annually awards $10,000 renewable scholarships to numerous students.
Hanover Park Foundations Grow Applications are accepted at the Community Center’s main office front desk. You can also mail your application, including copies of required documentation to the Hanover Park Park District, ATTN: Main Office, 1919 Walnut Ave, Hanover Park, IL 60133. An application does not constitute approval.
